Sun Media agrees to meet with Ontario Press Council; discuss withdrawal

<p>Contrary to Sun Media's claims, Ontario Press Council decisions are not politically correct and are only made after careful consideration, says Council chair Robert Elgie.</p><p>Elgie has issued an open letter to Sun Media in response to <a href="/article/it-disappoints-me-ontario-press-council-chairs-reaction-after-sun-media-pulls-out">Sun Media's decision to quit the Council earlier this week</a>, blaming the decision on the OPC's so-called politically correct bias and its alliance with the Sun's philosophically-oppositional competitors.</p>

“It disappoints me”: Ontario Press Council Chair’s reaction after Sun Media pulls out

Sun Media quitte le Conseil de presse de l’Ontario

CBC/Radio-Canada: réductions budgétaires en vue

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm"><font color="#000000">CBC/Radio-Canada doit s'attendre à recevoir une enveloppe budgétaire amputée d'au moins 5% de la part du gouvernement, a indiqué hier le ministre du Patrimoine James Moore, en entrevue à CBC.
