By Monday, Nagata's post had gone viral, with reprints from both The Tyee and Rabble. Following the comment explosion from other journos, Nagata wrote a second post, which you can read here. Some journalists have called him a champion; others, such as the National Post's Jessica Hume, have slammed him. Either way, after an article on the mega reaction on the Toronto.com website and a later segment on CBC's The Current, one thing is for sure: the media, and media criticism, is still a hot topic in Canada.
