Covering teen suicides: Globe article examines whether it’s right call

<p>The Globe's <a href="http://m.theglobeandmail.com/life/health-and-fitness/health/conditions/how-the-taboo-against-reporting-on-suicide-met-its-end/article4181695/">Steve Ladurantaye traces </a>at least one newspaper's decision (Ottawa Citizen) to break the taboo on covering suicide, in what now seems to be an almost too-frequent trend.  A psychiatry prof who helped draft media guidelines for the Canadian Psychiatric Association about suicide coverage worries that may not be good for the mental health of teens.</p>

TVA, V, le CRTC et l’information régionale

<p>Le Conseil de la radiodiffusion et des télécommunications canadiennes (CRTC) s'est penché cette semaine sur le renouvellement de licence des services de télévision privés francophones. La place de l'information à l'antenne de la chaîne V et l'indépendance des salles de nouvelles de TVA en région ont été au cœur des discussions.
