It’s that time of year again

Aspiring journalists are heading back to school to learn all the skills to start them on their way to becoming great journalists.

To help make student life a little smoother, J-Source has linked to lists of must-read blogs for j-students and put together a list of web tools that will help you organize your busy life and. And it’s not only students that are back-to-school. Check out our revamped Teaching Journalism section for resources and columns for journalism school faculty. Our recently updated Jobs & Internships page will help you find that perfect gig and the Student Awards and Scholarships page will help you decide where to send your work. We also recommend student membership in the Canadian Association of Journalists, to keep you in touch with workshops, career opportunities and issues of interest to the journalism community.

Also, students who subscribe to the J-Source weekly e-newsletter before Oct. 1, 2009 will be entered into a draw for a digital voice recorder.
