READ MORE<p>Canadian journalist Muhammad Lila had been anchoring newscasts and reporting for CBC since 2008, and in that time has covered local, national and international stories. Now, he begins a new role as ABC’s foreign correspondent to Pakistan, Afghanistan and the region.</p><p>While Lila has reported from Haiti, Syria, Saudi Arabia and the Himalayas in the past, this is the first time he will be living overseas as a correspondent. Prior to joining CBC, he anchored and reported for CityTV and CP24 in Toronto.</p>
