Radio-Canada: les artisans du Web se serrent la ceinture

<p>(deuxième version - 7/12/11 - 12h30)</p><p>La direction de l’Information d’Internet et services numériques (ISN) de Radio-Canada a annoncé à son personnel que le service fonctionnera exclusivement avec les effectifs permanents, à partir du 9 janvier. Une dizaine d'employés temporaires sont affectés par cette réorganisation du travail qui équivaut à la suppression de quatre postes et demi, selon la direction.</p>

Élections en Russie: lnternet érode la propagande étatique

CBC brings back Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi

<p><em>After cancelling </em>Hockey Night in Canada in Punjabi<em> in October, <strong>Ishani Nath</strong> reports that support from the Punjabi community has resurrected the broadcast for the second straight year. </em></p><p>CBC benched Hockey Night in Canada's Punjabi edition in October, but vehement support from the Punjabi community have put the broadcast back in the game. </p>

Brunswick News rolls out paywall

2012 preview: Digital revenue all-important for newspapers

<p>Digital ad revenue is the only area in which newspapers expect to see revenue growth in 2012, according to KubasPrimedia’s annual preview report.  </p><p>As MarketingMag.ca <a href="http://www.marketingmag.ca/news/media-news/no-turnaround-for-newspaper-revenues-in-2012-kubasprimedia-41398" target="_blank" rel="noopener">reports</a>, 53 per cent of newspaper executives said ad revenues were worse than expected this year. With digital revenue being the only saving grace, newspapers plan on improving their online presence, content and digital advertising platforms.</p>
