Transcontinental Media announced Wednesday that More Magazine and Vita, the respective English- and French-language magazines geared to women over 40, are shutting down.
The December/January 2013 issues will be the last of both publications, and the websites will close over the next few weeks, according to a TC Media press release.
The release further stated: “While the brands resonated well with readers, the challenging economic climate that prevailed for the two years following their launch made it difficult for the young publications to gain the advertising sales needed for long-term success.”
TC Media also owns Canadian Living, Elle Canada and Style at Home.
