Canadian sports journalism icon Jack Matheson died last week at the age of 86, the CBC reports. Matheson, an inductee in the Canadian Football Hall of Fame and Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame, was a sportswriter, editor and broadcaster. He worked for the Winnipeg Tribune and local Winnipeg radio station CJOB, where he was known for his coverage of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
