This annual workshop event will be held on Saturday, September 29, at Ryerson University in Toronto. The focus of this year’s Wordstock will be the transition of journalism from print to online and video. In addition to traditional craft sessions on writing, editing and reporting, there will be sessions on blogging and how to be successful; when to decide what form in which to tell a story; and whether user-generated content is here to stay. Keynote speaker will be Steve Buttry, director of Tailored Programs at the American Press Institute. The link will take you to a downloadable PDF of the program and registration form.
