Jim McKillican, a broadcast personality on Saskatchewan’s Morning Edition, died of cancer in hospital earlier this week.
McKillican started with the CBC as a technician in 1983 and left his position in 2008 due to illness.
Sheila Coles, host of Morning Edition said:
“We took our jobs seriously and our journalism seriously, but … we laughed until we cried just about every day. I think the great relationship we had behind the scenes came across on the air. People used to say they could tell we were all friends.”
