IPC media has announced that Sally Eyden will become Now Magazine‘s new editor-in-chief, effective in February.
The Guardian notes that Now lost 12% of its circulation year on year in the first half of 2010, down to 338,080.
Eyden is currently editor of News of the World‘s celebrity and style magazine Fabulous. Eyden succeeds Abigail Blackburn, who left Now in May. Deputy editor Victoira Kennedy has been acting editor since.
Eyden began her career at the Daily Express and has worked for Night and Day, Reveal and the Daily Mirror.
