Rogers appoints chief content officer, broadcasting president

Rogers Media has appointed two senior executives to newly created
positions: Scott Moore will be president, broadcasting while Leslie Sole is promoted to the newly created job of chief content officer.

Broadcaster Magazine reports that Sole will be responsible for the “creation and execution of Rogers Media content strategy.” He previously oversaw the expansion of Rogers Television.

Moore will now oversee Rogers Media television including Citytv, Sportsnet and OMNI, as well as all radio properties. He previously worked for CBC Television, Rogers Sportsnet and has owned his own production company.
