The Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC) honoured Jennifer Walker, senior content editor of Best Health, with its editor of the year award.
The award was presented at MagNet conference in Toronto on June 5.
David Johnston, PWAC executive director, said of the award:
“It is a pleasure to be able to honour and acknowledge the special relationship that exist between the best editors and writers. Without the talent and commitment of the editors in our industry, Canadian writers would not be able to shine the way they do.”
This is the second year the editor of the year award has been presented by PWAC.
