A board comprised of some high-ranking editors and other journalism bigwigs has been appointed to guide what will become the largest news staff in American journalism devoted solely to investigative reporting. ProPublica, a news website supported entirely by philanthropy, hopes that the collaboration will result in wider distribution of its online-only content.
