In this two-hour seminar, freelance writer and trainer Paul Lima will talk about how you can use the Web to market your freelance writing and editing services (or training, web design and other services). He will cover such topics as building an organized Website, Website optimization (how to rank high in Google) and the role of blogs. For budding authors in the audience, he will also discuss print-on-demand self-publishing and using the Web to sell books and special reports. Seminar takes place from 7-10 p.m. at the Sky Dragon Centre, 27 King William St, Hamilton, Ont. The cost is $5 for PWAC members and $10 for the public. The seminar is followed by informal chats in the cafe at the Centre or at nearby pubs for those who wish.
