New evening news anchor at CTV Montreal

Todd van der Heyden is set to become the new co-anchor for the CTV Montreal’s 6 p.m. newscast, the station announced in a press release. van der Heyden will join anchor Mutsumi Takahashi on CTV Evening News beginning Monday, August 11.

van der Heyden is from Montreal and has worked as a reporter and anchor for CTV Montreal for nearly ten years.

“Todd is a rising star in broadcast journalism and we are thrilled he will be joining our evening newscast,” said Don Bastien, senior vice-president and general manager at CTV Montreal, in a release. “Todd is a Montrealer who is incredibly committed to serving this community.”
