Marissa Nelson named senior director of digital media at CBC News

Marissa nelson has been named the senior director for digital media with CBC News and Centres. 

Nelson became the acting director after Rachel Nixon departed from the position in August 2012 to become Principal News Director, Bing Application Experiences at Microsoft. Previously she was the managing editor of cbcnews.ca and senior editor of digital news at the Toronto Star.
