The Kenneth R. Wilson Awards, which celebrate excellence in Canadian
business journalism, have opened up all written categories to accept
digital submissions. Nominations open tomorrow.
The digital-only categories have also been revised, a press release notes:
• Best Web Site of the Year will award a Web site that successfully fulfills its editorial mission, effectively serves its audience, maximizes use of the Web and represents the highest journalistic standards.
• Best Digital Design will award excellence to a digital publication with the most successful and original overall combination of visual and graphic design elements.
• Best Multi-media Feature will award a publication with an original digital feature that best serves its intended audience through use of the digital medium.
The awards are presented by the Canadian Business Press and Magazines Canada. Submit your work before January 24th to get the early-bird entry fee. Submissions close February 4th, and nominees are announced on May 3rd. The awards will be presented at the Carlu in Toronto on June 7.
