Ken Whyte now in charge of all Rogers’s English and French consumer publishing

Ken Whyte’s duties now include responsibility for all English and French
consumer publications owned by Rogers Publishing Ltd., D.B. Scott
reports.

The move was announced today by president and CEO Brian Segal in a note to Rogers’s staff, reprinted on Scott’s Canadian Magazines blog:

“Effective immediately, I am expanding the responsibilities of Ken Whyte in his role as Executive Vice-President, Consumer Publishing, Rogers Publishing Limited. Ken will now be responsible for overseeing all consumer publishing titles. This means that in addition to his current portfolio of publications, Ken will also oversee all of our French consumer titles based in the Montreal office: LOULOU, Châtelaine, and L’actualité. Ken will also oversee Hello!

“As a result of this appointment, the leadership team at LOULOU, Chatelaine, L’actualité and Hello! will now report directly to Ken.”
