Hamilton Spectator gets new publisher

Ian Oliver has been named the new publisher of the Hamilton Spectator. Oliver, formerly vice-president and publisher of Metroland’s Halton and Niagara publications, replaces two-time Spectator publisher Pat Collins. The move comes as part of a larger reorganization of Torstar Corporation’s Metroland and CityGroup newspapers and is effective immediately, reports the Star.
