John Lavine, dean of the Medill School of Journalism, says critics of his curriculum change plans are keeping alive a controversy over an article he wrote, the Daily Northwestern reports. Lavine was addressing a student audience for the first time about accusations that he had fabricated quotes for a column he wrote in an alumni magazine last month.
