The new show will have a rotating chair of high-profile Corus talk radio personalities taking on the role of host. The first show, which is called Canadians Talk … Leadership: Have our leaders lost our trust?, premiers Jan. 28 with Vancouver’s CKNW AM 980’s Jon McComb sitting in as host.
“We are thrilled to bring a new talk show series to our listeners across Canada,” said Gord Harris, brand captain for Corus Radio, News-Talk in a press release. “Canadians Talk … will leverage the strength of our news-talk stations and our seasoned hosts to get Canadians talking about major issues on a national scale, both on-air and online.”
The new show will be simultaneously be aired on CKNW AM 980(Vancouver), News Talk 770 (Calgary), 630 CHED (Edmonton), 680 CJOB (Winnipeg), AM 900 CHML (Hamilton), AM980 (London, Ont.) and Talk Radio AM640 (Toronto) at 9 p.m. ET.
