CTV’s Washington bureau chief Tom Clark is set to leave his post in the U.S. and return to Ottawa to anchor CTV Newsnet’s daily political show On the Hill, the company announced today.
Clark will be replacing Mike Duffy, who left the popular show when he was appointed to the Senate.
An official start date for his new position has yet to be announced, but he is said to be back in Ottawa “preparing for his new role” as Parliament opens.
Clark will anchor On the Hill as well as CTV Newsnet specials and he will continue as backup anchor for Lloyd Robertson on CTV’s nightly national newscast.
No replacement for Clark in Washington has been announced.
