CBC News releases new mobile app, redesigns site

CBC News has released a new mobile app, in tandem with a redesign of CBCNews.ca. The app boasts “real-time access to breaking news, local news and weather content”, exclusive access to multimedia, “political news direct from Parliment Hill”, story-sharing tools and customizing options.
