CBC names executive producers for 2014 Sochi Game

Mark McInnis and Chris Irwin will head CBC’s planning and programming of the 2014 Sochi Olympic Games, respectively, the Hollywood Reporter has reported.

McInnis comes to CBC from Bell Media, where he was vice president of production for Much MTV group. Irwin, who has been a part of CBC’s Olympic coverage in the past, has most recently been in the position of executive producer of sports content for CBC Sports.
