Canadian photojournalist Finbarr O’Reilly has won the World Press Photo of the Year with a dramatic shot of a starving child in Niger, Africa. The 35-year-old Ryerson University graduate’s photo was selected from more than 80,000 photographs entered in this year’s competition, reports the school’s student newspaper.
