Call for media participants in study about Paralympic Games coverage

Researchers at McMaster University are carrying out a study to learn how media regarding the Paralympic Games is developed and what people think of these news stories and media that cover the Paralympic Games.

Researchers at McMaster University are carrying out a study to learn how media regarding the Paralympic Games is developed and what people think of these news stories and media that cover the Paralympic Games.

We are currently recruiting members of the media who have written online or print stories about the 2014 Paralympic Games to participate in telephone/Skype interviews.  During these interviews, we will ask you questions about the process of writing these stories, and any resources you found helpful in drafting your stories. As compensation for your time, we will send you a $10 gift certificate to the vendor of your choice (i.e. Starbucks, Chapters, iTunes).

There should be no risks to you in taking part in the interview and you will be able to stop at any time. This study has been reviewed and cleared by the McMaster Research Ethics Board.
