Pieuvre.ca: média flottant indépendant

<p style="margin-bottom: 0cm"><font color="#000000">Né en 2009, sous l'impulsion de Hugo Prévost et Mathieu Labrie, le site <a href="http://www.pieuvre.ca/"><em>Pieuvre.ca</em></a> s'est doté ces dernières semaines d'un nouveau look. Ses fondateurs souhaitaient évacuer l'étiquette de blogue qui leur collait aux tentacules et offrir une plateforme plus professionnelle à leur quinzaine de collaborateurs et à leurs quelque 10 000 visiteurs uniques mensuels. <em>ProjetJ.ca</em> s'est entretenu avec eux.</font></p>

Québec lance une consultation publique sur l’info

Elle donnait ainsi suite au rapport du Groupe de travail sur le journalisme et l'avenir de l'information, piloté par la professeure Dominique Payette, qui lui a été livré en janvier.</font></p>

The CBC stumbled with l’affaire Duceppe: Citizen columnist

<p>Former Bloc Québécois leader Gilles Duceppe's "whirlwind business relationship" with Radio-Canada isn't likely to fade from public discourse any time soon, <a href="http://www.ottawacitizen.com/news/stumbled%2Bwith%2Baffaire%2BDuceppe/5282008/story.html">writes Michael Taube in a recent <em>Ottawa Citizen</em> column</a>.</p><p>"In fact," he adds, "Our public broadcaster will rue the day its French language affiliate tried to get in bed with an ex-politician who wanted to break apart Canada."</p>

Cautionary tale: “Don’t trust Wikipedia”

<p>In <a href="http://www.thestar.com/opinion/public_editor/2011/08/19/english_dont_trust_wikipedia.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener">her latest column</a>, <em>Toronto Star</em> public editor Kathy English shares the story of <em>Star</em> intern Michael Woods, who learned the hard way how damaging unverified information can be.</p><p>Woods reported on the death of Rick Rypien, the 27-year-old Vancouver Canucks winger who was recently found dead after losing a hard-fought battle with depression. By all accounts Rypien had received full support from the Canucks organization through his troubles.</p>

Gil Courtemanche n’est plus

À 68 ans, il avait sous la cravate une longue carrière de reporter baroudeur, de chroniqueur et d'animateur.</font></p>
