La FPJQ taxée de corporatisme

<p>De passage à Gatineau aujourd'hui, la <a href="http://www.mcc.gouv.qc.ca/index.php?id=3277">consultation publique sur l'information d'intérêt public</a> dans les médias bât son plein. Elle faisait escale à Québec vendredi et à Gaspé il y a deux semaines. Dans ces deux villes, les sections régionales de la Fédération professionnelle des journalistes du Québec (FPJQ) se sont présentées leur mémoire sous le bras pour plaider pour l’instauration d'un titre professionnel de journaliste gérer par leur fédération.

Fallait-il montrer la capture de Kadhafi?

Has the ethics committee given Quebecor a bully pulpit?

<p><a href="http://www.cmg.ca/newsresults.asp?ID=1705&SubjectID=12&BranchID=10" target="_blank" rel="noopener">The Canadian Media Guild certainly thinks so.</a> In a recent release, the Guild, which counts CBC and six other media organizations as its members, accused the parliamentary ethics committee of giving Sun News head Karl Peladeau a public forum to slam one of its biggest competitors, the CBC. Ad Age asks top U.S. media folk: Got hope?

<p>Earlier this month, <a href="http://adage.com/article/media/hope-folks-upbeat-media-tumult/230164/" target="_blank" rel="noopener"><em>Ad Age</em></a> asked top media editors, owners, and thinkers in the U.S. why we should be hopeful for the industry. Chris Anderson, David Remnick, Emily Bell and others answered, all saying the pessimists out there have it wrong. Remnick said it opened doors to new audiences; Anderson said it was an opportunity, not a curse; and Tina Brown called it an innovative and exciting time.

Quebecor vs Radio-Canada: la guerre se corse

Le conglomérat somme son concurrent de retirer immédiatement de son site web le texte intitulé «Ce que <em>Quebecor</em> ne vous dit pas quand elle attaque le radiodiffuseur public» et le document «Examen des arguments de Quebecor Media en faveur du libre marché».
