CRTC to review fund supporting local broadcasting

<p>In 2009, the CRTC created the Local Programming Improvement Fund to support the development of local television programming – and local news in particular. They are now holding a public consultation to review whether the fund should be maintained, modified of cancelled.</p><p>The review comes as no surprise, as it had been scheduled to take place three years after the fund began. </p>

Thomson Reuters délocalise de Toronto à Bangalore

<p>Thomson Reuters s'apprête à délocaliser une partie de ses activités en ligne dans le sud de l'Inde. Basé à Toronto depuis 2005, le site web de l'agence de presse conservera cinq salariés dans la Ville Reine. 17 permanents et cinq temporaires verront leurs tâches effectuées à Bangalore à compter de mars prochain. Leur travail consiste essentiellement à mettre en ligne des articles et des photos.</p>
