Postmedia Network outsources printing of Vancouver Sun and The Province

The Tyee embarks on its campaign to go national

<p><em>The Tyee</em> is gearing up to implement its plan to expand nationally after its crowdfunding campaign raised almost $102,000. The online magazine, based in Vancouver, will immediately start tapping into a pool of writers who committed to providing more conversation at the national level.</p><p>“It’s an affirmation for the kind of journalism we do, so it’s very exciting,” said editor-in-chief Dave Beers. “But I think what we’re seeing here is the second stage of crowdfunding for journalism.”</p>

Reporter arrested for third time at Elsipogtog
