All about the Global Investigative Journalism Conference

The Global Investigative Journalism conference, hosted by the Canadian Association of Journalists from May 24 to May 27 in Toronto, drew top journalists and experts from around the world. Visit the GIJC website for a recap of the four-day-long event, including a photo gallery, videos of the keynote speakers and a list of the CAJ award winners.

Maher Arar speaks during the opening plenary session at the GIJC. Arar was part of a panel that addressed how his story was covered and why the narratives that emerged were both powerful and dangerous at the same time. (CAJ)
