A StatsCanreport released today showslast year’s newspaper operating profit margin declining for a second year in a row. While both operating expenses and operating revenue increased in 2005, the profit margin has been shrinking steadily over the last three years: in2005it was13.3 per cent, compared with14.2 per cent in2004and15.1 per cent in2003.
