As part of a series of changes at CBC this year, correspondents in Ottawa and the U.S. have been reassigned.
After five years as CBC News’ chief political correspondent, Keith Boag is moving to Los Angeles to become the network’s American West Coast correspondent.
Longtime reporter Terry Milewski will move to Ottawa to become the new senior political correspondent, while Evan Solomon, former host of the Sunday news show, will host a new political show on CBC Newsworld between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m., starting this Fall. In this role, Solomon takes over Don Newman’s slot, after the Politics host retired in June.
In addition, Susan Bonner will move from Ottawa to the Washington bureau and Paul Hunter will be officially posted in Washington and David Common is set to move from the Paris bureau to New York.
