Murdoch Davis, publisher/editor of the Post-Tribune in northwest Indiana, has been named president of the Midwest Suburban Publishing branch of the Sun-Times News Group. Before joining the Post-Tribune in 2006, Davis spent 30 years in the news industry in Canada, including stints as publisher of the Winnipeg Free Press and VP editorial for CanWest.
