Rogers purchases SCN, set to launch Citytv channel in Saskatchewan

<p>The <a href="http://www.crtc.gc.ca/eng/com100/2012/r120621.htm" target="_blank" rel="noopener">CRTC has approved</a> Rogers Broadcasting Limited’s purchase of Saskatchewan Communications Network from Bluepoint Investment Inc. for $3 million.</p><p>Rogers plans to relaunch SCN as a Citytv station based in Regina, <a href="http://www.canadianbusiness.com/article/66212--rogers-media-to-expand-citytv-with-deal-for-saskatchewan-communications-network" target="_blank" rel="noopener">according to Canadian Business</a>.</p>

La radio parlée devient reine chez Cogeco

<p>Fort du succès du 98,5 fm et du FM93 à Montréal et Québec, le groupe Cogeco Diffusion a décidé d'appliquer la même recette à ses stations régionales. Les stations 106,9 fm en Mauricie, 107,7 fm en Estrie et 104,7 fm en Outaouais abandonneront le format hybride musical-parlé pour le format cent pour cent parlé dès le 20 août.</p>
