READ MORE<p> </p><p>Tony Eberts, a retired journalist who had worked in <em>The Province</em> newsroom for over thirty years has died, has died, the <a href="http://www.theprovince.com/news/Three+decades+newsroom+Province+reporter+Tony+Eberts+passes+away/8318692/story.html#ixzz2S4imJcef">newspaper reported</a>.</p><p>Eberts was born July 11, 1932 in Vancouver. He started at B.C. tabloid covering the New Westminster beat before moving on to general assignment. He eventually became the newspaper’s environmental reporter.</p>
