As of July 1, Canada just got a whole lot funnier. Or at least, that’s the goal of the Walrus‘s newly launched website, Stella Artois Presents The Walrus Laughs.
Designed to celebrate humour, the website has three main columns: Magazine Laughs, for humour pieces that have run in the mag, Perry Laughs, for pieces site curator Perry Rosemond (Royal Canadian Air Farce producer, among other things) has picked, and You Laughs, for pieces from the public, and vetted by the Walrus Laughs team.
For more on the project, check out the National Post‘s interview with Walrus publisher Shelley Ambrose, and, of course, the site itself.
