Laas Turnbull will join Star Media Group as Eye Weekly‘s publisher and editor.

Masthead reports:

“Turnbull will assume leadership for all Eye Weekly print and online properties and report directly to Star Media Group president and Toronto Star publisher John Cruickshank.

“Turnbull most recently worked as executive vice president of Brunico Communications and has worked previously as editor in chief of Report on Business and director of magazine development for The Globe and Mail.”
