The National Magazine Awards Foundation is accepting entries for this year’s awards.
The deadline for entries is Jan. 15 and “entries must be submitted online and followed by tear sheets mailed or couriered to our office.”
For the first time this year, the National Magazine Awards will honour Canadian web-based magazine content and online-only magazines with seven new online categories. Another new category this year is Best New Visual Creator, which will honour “an illustrator or photographer whose early work in magazines shows the highest degree of craft and promise.” Also, this year the Best Student Writer and Best New Writer awards are being amalgamated into one award for Best New Magazine Writer.
See the NMAF website for full details about the awards and the entry process.
The awards gala will be held in Toronto on June 4.
