The news business is always changing and while some tech fads vanish as quickly as they appeared, others have staying power and become standard tools of the trade.
John Thompson, editor and publisher of journalism.co.uk has compiled his list of Ten things every journalist should know in 2009. A few items on the list are tech tools, such as RSS readers and Twitter, while others are Thompson’s must-know ideas about journalism.
