Canadian-Egyptian journalist Heba Aly was expelled by Sudan, where she had been reporting for the Christian Science Monitor, Bloomberg and Irin, reported AFP. A Canadian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman spoke out against the expulsion, saying Canada is “concerned” and has “have contacted the Sudanese authorities, including the foreign minister, to get an explanation and express our concern about this situation.”
