Andrew Ritchie has suddenly left his job as publisher of the Winnipeg Free Press, CBC reports. Staff were told he was leaving to pursue other interests, but a journalism professor sees the move as more of a push than a jump. Ritchie’s replacement will be the third publisher in three years at the Free Press.
