CBC Newsworld was temporarily out of service on the afternoon of Sept. 2, the CBC reports.
The outage affected only Rogers cable customers. According to CBc spokesperson Jeff Keay said it was “an issue with a fibre-optics cable, a Rogers fibre-optics cable.”
During the outage an image of Research in Motion executive Jim Balsillie appeared frozen on screen.
