Paul Woods is joining the Toronto Star as executive editor.
Woods will be responsible for human resources, labour relations, financial matters, newsroom organization and liaising with IT staff, according this his LinkedIn profile.
Prior to joining the Star, Woods was the editorial consultant for the National Newspaper Awards and held various positions at The Canadian Press, including director of human resources, Ontario bureau chief and Prairies news editor.
