RTDNA Canada presented its annual awards Saturday evening at a gala event in Toronto, as part of its 50th anniversary conference.
Awards were given out for national television, national radio, network television and network radio and many of the national awards were split into three categories – large, medium and small-market media.

Awards were given out for national television, national radio, network television and network radio and many of the national awards were split into three categories – large, medium and small-market media.
The awards included those such as best newscast (which CTV Edmonton took home in the large market category for its Slave Lake Disaster coverage), best network newscast (which CTV National News with Lisa Laflamme won) and the Adrienne Clarkson Diversity Award (won by Global Saskatoon in the national category, and CBC News’ The National in the network category).
