Vancouver Magazine was named Magazine of the Year for Western Canada and The Tyee won Online Magazine of the Year at the 30^th annual Western Magazine Awards Friday night in Vancouver.  

Vancouver Magazine took home the most awards, with seven. Eighteen Bridges, a new publication, followed with four awards, including Best New Magazine and Magazine of the Year Alberta/NWT.

Sean Rossiter received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
