Ford has been without a press secretary since Adrienne Batra left City Hall to take a job as the Sun’s comment editor in December.
Christopoulos will likely have a busy first few days on the job. The National Post notes that he will be starting the day after city workers could legally go on strike or be locked out, in light of the labour dispute that has been ongoing with the City.
