Women’s Post, a weekly national newspaper for professional women, plans to relaunch as a glossy news magazine on August 1, according to a Media in Canada story.
According to the article, the updated mag will contain 20 pages and publish 100,000 copies of each
issue. “We will be one of the few magazines that educated women won’t
be ashamed to read in public,” said publisher Sarah Thomson. As well, the magazine will be distributed to cottages in Muskoka in August and to medical clinics and salons in
Toronto.
The Post, currently found in hot pink newspaper boxes, says on its website:
The Women’s Post is a magazine designed for professional women. We are
now reaching more mid to high income professional women per issue in
Toronto than The Globe and Mail, The National Post or Toronto Life.
