Tessa Sproule is the new Director, Digital at CBC as of April 1. The role is a new one created within the CBC's English Services "Content Office, she told J-Source.
"I'm responsible for our digital content offerings across CBC — what/why/how we create content that uses digital tools/platforms etc. to engage with Canadians," Sproule said. "It's a progression from what I was doing previously as director of interactive content for our scripted and unscripted programming — but this new role expands that to cover all areas and genres of the CBC."
Sproule said she will also ensure that those experiences are shared across the CBC.
